In this video, I am going through all of my home decor items and clearing out things I know I will not use in decorating our house. You\'ll see just how much I love a good bargain, and how I kinda love everything... a lot. I run into a few design style collisions and have a hard time parting with some things, but in the end, It feels SO much better not having near as much clutter to deal with! Once you take your first few bites, I promise it is so worth it! ________________________________________ About Tate and Bugs: We are Jarrod and Katie Hess. We have 2 little boys, Toby and Carter Lee. We lived in the center of town our first 7 years of marriage, always dreaming of buying property someday. Well, that someday came for us October 4th 2018. We saw the land and told our realtor it was \"the one\" before we saw how horrible the house was. When we looked inside, it didn\'t change our minds one bit. We saw what this pretty little thing could be. Our prayer was that God would give us a stick built house, no less than 3 acres, and no further than half an hour from town. While you see on TV, people always have conditions for buying, \"at least 4 beds and 3 baths. Definitely a formal dining room and there has to be solid wood throughout.\" etc. Those were our only requests. We knew the Lord would help us make whatever we got, what we\'ve always wanted. The day came when we got the gate key (there was no house key cause there were plenty of other ways to get in than just the doors). Since then, we\'ve been working to turn this 1938 farmhouse and 7 1/2 acres into what we\'ve always dreamed of. It is a slow process, as we are the ones that do all the work (with the exception of some help from family and friends). But we sure do love spending time with each other all while making our dreams come true. We started this channel to document the whole renovation process and share it all with you.
